Duration:7.30-10.15pm

Tide:rising

Weather:light breeze

Bait:rag,mack

Rigs:mini rigs

Results:me 2 corkring 1 ballen wrass 1 pouting 1 pollock gitsea.m 1 corkring 1 pollock




Report:arrived at the rock mark after a good bit of rock hopping and we first put out a conger line each but no joy for the session i set up a mini rig and on the first cast i picked up a small corking (first of the year)and then a double of a ballen and pouting (another 2 new for the year)then gitsea set up his mini rig and picked up a pollock and a corkring gigging a rag i gave it another while casting the mini but no joy so i changed to gigging a rag a picked up a pollock and another corkring that was it for the session went home happy enough with 3 new spicies for the year

Nice session well done good mix of species..... the pouting looks like a poor cod then anal fin stops just short of the main dorsal fin whereas with a pouting the anal fin will be directly under the main dorasl fin...
