Re: Fishing Tackle Insurance
get reciepts or valuations and try to get them on your house insurance. its called anytime insurance i think. doesnt matter if their taken from a car, beach or just break, they'll replace them. if they'll put them on it shouldnt cost much. i put something on last year valued at E1800 and it only cost E35 extra per year. small price to pay. might think about this myself.

Re: Fishing Tackle Insurance
reinsured in april sent a list of my rods reels ect ,because no one item is over 2000 yo yos they are covered in the all risks policy
no extra charge on mine
also covered if taken from the car or van ,the all risks and accidental part of the policy is a bit extra but well worth it ,keep a list of any new gear and receipts if possible if your shed burnt down could you remember all your gear?my list was larger than i expected
and much larger than the wife expected

Re: Fishing Tackle Insurance
I've mine covered on the all risks policy for the house as well. Useful for stuff like waders too, if you've invested in a decent pair.
I was warned though that I won't be covered if I damage something through its intended use. So if you break your 5g spinning rod hauling in some monster from the deep, don't expect any payout

Done the same. i took out "all risks" on the house insurance with "Fishing tackle" as a named item with Eagle star. €50 extra for €3000 cover.
