I have one of these. I bought in the Great Outdoors in Dublin. It was 550 euro and I got a discount off that when I bought some other gear there.

Is it any good?
I thought the speed thing would come in if you got caught in a current and needed to paddle out of it?

The fact that the thing is slow means it doesn't move too easily. Which is a good thing in wind/tide.
