Black head Clare.
People : myself and tight lines
duration : 7 to 10:30pm
tide : dropping
weather : fine and warm
rigs : plugs and sand eels
Arrived at the head about 5 o clock . set up camp , had a cup of tea and relaxed for a bit
went down to our usual marks, i was spinning trying to pick up a few mackerel and tight lines was using a plug and picked up a nice pollock of about 3 pounds.
I got one mackerel and decided to switch to sand eels this worked instantly with a pollock of about 6 pounds .
Tight lines got 3 more pollock up to 4 pounds .
I got several more pollock averageing 4 pounds.
A very good evening had on the head..

I practically lived on that same spot in the mid 1970s and never did that good. Ye've obviously got the touch! Great pix too.
