IMELDA. specimen tub gurnard

#1 Post by JOHN1 »

well headed out today to use up some bait left over from cahore yesterday,
i was supposed to fish a small club comp when i say small i mean small  i was not too pushed i had no crew organised so my wife decided to come with me for the day as the kids had made there own plans  turned up launched boat all bar one of the lads objected to wife coming on my boat for comp so we fecked off on our own left them at it  had a fantastic 3.5 hour session  yes fishing session. first we headed for macks had about 40 in 15 minutes.

then headed off in the fog for hounds first drop hound on for wendy first one ever happy days managed about 10 in about 1 and a half hours. then i hit a mark iv had nice gurnard from and bingo hit the jackpot specimen tub at 5.3 lb 8)   put up a fight like a very big hound trashing and diving till the last and perfectly netted by herself :D
8 species in total hounds, tub gurnard, lsd, launce, whiting, macks, dabs, grey gurnard.
