People:myself, fishaholic, bigdsod and tonyfella

Duration:8-1am

Tide: rise and fall

Weather:slight easterly to begin with

Bait:crab and eel

Rigs:3/0 pulleys for my part

Results:starry smmothounds, commons smoothounds, dogs, flounders and dabs




Report:lovely spot that bray head, the rocks and grass have eroded away to leave beautiful little beach, thank god for those winter storms, anywho i had a lovely little 4lb hound on my first cast, not a lot for me after that bar a few dogs, the lads where picking a few flats including some very good dabs, mark landed a nice starry followed by the best fightin hound ive ever seen, i was convinced it was a small tope, took some runs, nice to be out all the same :D mark has the pics,

That bray hound gave mark a good fight alright thought it was a tope too the way it peeled the line of the reel great to see them :wink:

Has anybody ever caught a nappy?? :lol:

no the tides wernt right for the southern side of the head, we will save that for next week, north bray all the way

i reckon that second hound was on speed i had forgotten what it was like to catch something that pulled back good craic all the same most of the pics didnt turn out :oops:

I think they were a good bit away from you Dave :wink: ..................

I thought eric lad had learnt his lesson after the last time he got his bottom spanked :lol: by the mods for his bray head reporting, but I guess boys will be boys huh :roll:

Some nise fish there though lads, gonna have to get a hound session in this weekend I reckon.

nope but i caught a bra once on killiney beach when a few of the new zealand rugby team were out for a walk ..They cracked up laughing :oops: :oops:
