Results:me one conger,two pollock,one dog jason 2 pollock,one three bearded rockling
Report:got a chance for a short session so we decided on currean, were set up about seven and on the first cast got a small pollock soon after jason got a pollock and we thought we were in for a great session!then the rain came and i mean rain,at one point we could not see the sea it was that heavy but it was over in about ten min so all was well except the fish went off the feed.I have heard that thunder and lighting can put the fish down and i think we proved that last night got the second rod out and after about fifteen min i saw a funny type of bite on the rod, waited till it happened again and struck, all hell broke loose there was a great bend on the rod and the scrap was the biz!finally i landed a conger eel my first ever was well chuffed! soon after, jasons float rod got a hit and he played and landed a fine big three bearded rockling that looked specimen size he returned it (thats the second specimen he has returned) and for his good deed he was rewarded with a nice size pollock which was to be his dinner today my turn then came and i got a smaller pollock that was returned.changed over to a one up one down flapper as the tide went out and gave it welly,(getting used to these multipliers) soon after got a doggie(had forgotten what a bad scrap they were)we stayed at it for another hour but nothing else happened so we packed up and went home.good session and hopefully jason will get a few new species in portugal next week.
