Report:arrived and set up camp no easy task getting the tent up as the wind was blowing hard stright in at us so all hands on deck after 20-25 mins it was up time for a sit down for a few mins and then we took a short walk to have a look at our usual mark only to find it was unfishable to swells were coming up over it so back to the tent we had some light to eat and chilled for a few hours hopeing the wind would drop at 5.15 there was no change so we headed up to another mark were we fished before when it was windy to have a look hopeing it would be calm and free as there was polish mack bashers everywere when we arrived it was calm with only 2 mack bashers above us so out we went and stright away git got a mack on the spinner and then changed to a sandeel and got a small pollock about 1lb and then another about the same size then i hit a nice pollock at 4lb on the plug (great fight) then it was git again with a cracken pollock that doubled his rod and send his reel screaming it must have taken 30 yeads of line before he got a hold of it and after a good fight it came to the surface i got down to land it and after a good soaking it was landed a cracker at just over 6lb then git hit another 3 pollock in the next hour between 1.5-3lb all the while gavin was haveing very bad luck with droping fish and a nice 1 that snaped his line i picked up 1 more about 10 mins before we packed up it was 3.5lb so back to the tent we went for some dinner and a few beers woke up sunday morning to a very cloudy day but the wind had droped a bit so took a walk over to look at the usual mark (no.28) it was not as bad but still a bit dodgey so went back over to the tent for some breakfast after food we took a short drive to get some bits and piecies and a bit of sight seening arrived back and headed for the same mark as the night before not much happing git got the only fish of the afternoon session a pollock of about 3lb witch flew out of his hands and back in when landed we went back to the tent for dinner and by the time the evening session came around the wind had droped more so we headed up to the same mark and worked our way back towards our usual mark no.28 no fish until we got to 28 were git got 4 pollock all around the 4lb mark and i got 2 pollock both at 1.5 lb also gavins hard work payed off he got a mack and lost a good fish when hooked went stright into the kelp and there was no getting it out it end up snaping his line so a great weekend fishing back to the tent for a few beers and a good kip for the long trip home on monday a great time had by all sorry that the date is wrong on the photos
