PEOPLE : MYSELF

3 HOURS BEFORE HIGH TIDE

ROD 1 MACKEREL FEATHERS,ROD 2 RAG SLIDING FLOAT SETUP.

6.30 PM - 9.00 PM 20/6/09

4 MACKEREL ON FEATHERS AND 1 SMALL POLLACK ON THE RAG, GOOD NIGHT WISH I COULD HAVE STAYED LONGER FEW OTHER GUYS THERE CAUGHT A FEW MACKEREL TO. ANYONE ELSE FISH THERE LET ME KNOW WHAT SETUP YOUS USE AND WHAT YOUS CATCH ONLY SECOND TIME FISHING THERE WILL BE BACK DOWN IN FEW WEEKS.

well done man. :D :D its good to see the mack's have turned up, if your fishing the rocks at the golf course then stick with feathers but the float is deadly in the harbour
some times catching crabs is a good thing.........or is it...........?

Good to hear there is a few macks around Ardglass. Like Minty says I fish the golfcourse rocks, deep water. I usually fish the sliding float setup and set it for a good thirty foot using ragworm. On a good day spinning can also be deadly. I'm sure feathers would work well, I'm just not keen on fishing that way.
