Co Dublin Bass, 19/06/09
I had a very detailed and highly entertaining report written, but my computer crashed as I was uplaoding the photo's.
Cant be bothered writing it again, so I'll leave the lads to add what they want.
6 Bass to 7lb and a few flounder.
Pic's to follow

Re: Co Dublin Bass, 19/06/09
their was me expecting the best report in ages mark!! three hookups with three bass at the same time and three happy anglers isnt something you get every session:lol: was delighted to see brian get his whopper considering the weed on his line weighed more than the bass, it was a close call
not often you see so many good bass on one night ,got to try out my new fish gripy weighty thingymobob
beats getting spiked
,thats happened to me with reports ,when you go to add a pic it want,s you to log on and you lose the report
go back a page
highlight the report and right click it,select copy, then log in and just paste the whole lot into a new topic, then add your pics saves typing the whole lot again or did your pc go doolally?

Re: Co Dublin Bass, 19/06/09
ah mark its a pity you didnt get the text in
what a session - ive never been involved with a session where all three rods went mental at the same time - just like the auld codger said they would when the bass would turn around and head out to sea!!!!
me hands are in bits with line burn after hand lining that chap in - the dreaded weed!
i was wrecked and it was wrecked with all that weed
happy days - ive put in a fair few hours so its nice to have something to show for it all

Re: Co Dublin Bass, 19/06/09
its mad the difference in fishing east to west
the fish may be bigger in the west but theres far more out east
BY THE WAY!!! I seem to remember this in a report i think someone should be eating his own words

Re: Co Dublin Bass, 19/06/09
Strange auld nights fishing, big bass early in daylight and hopes raised of having a good session, then it was like pulling teeth for the next few hours, then bang............a manic 1/2 hour.
Started with me getting a bite, fish on...at last...then mark saying...."am I over your line"...err no..."whoa fish on for me aswell" said Mark, then Brian grabbing his rod and stiking into a fish.
3 bass on all at the same time
Great craic.
That had the scores at 1 for me, 1 for Roger, and 2 each for Mark and Brian.
I was desperate to get another, and shortly after I got a huge wallop, struck into the fish but he was charging straight at me, I couldnt get line back on the reel quick enough for a short while, then finally I managed to get some tension on the line, minutes later I lost him, definately a good, good fish, he bent a 3/0 hook out.
Fished on for another 30mins or so, but by now we had lost out to the ebb of the tide and with the weed around there was little point in chasing the water out.
All the bass gave savage bites, rods flying out of tripod job.......great stuff, beats dragging in pin whiting and tiny flats
Lesson learnt though on the hook front, I got the meat hooks ready for the next night.....report to follow shortl.

Corb, between the hair, the beard and the camera angle it looks like Jesus has returned as a bass angler
Nice fishing lads, the bass fishing appears to have kicked off everywhere.
Fluff chucking is the new black..... Rampant Wreckfish is a fly angler in denial
