Wading shoes
I need a pair to go with my waders with little neoprene sock fellahs at the end where I presumed a pair of rubber boots would be! Read ebay properly!
The good news is they fit! Whats next? Anyone know where you could get a relatively inexpensive pair? Do I bring my waders in with me to fit them?
Do I have to dry them every time and can I put them back on wet?

Re: Wading shoes
Dont go near wading boots designed for fly fishing if you intead to use them in the sea.
I speak from experience they wont last 6 months before they start to break up and corrode.
Greys GRX Boots are excellent.

Vision Sprinter boots.

Re: Wading shoes
Cheers lads, with most things they seems to be cheaper on the web. With delivery from the UK a Greys pair comes to about €70. If Im a size 11 what size wading boot do I get or do I idealy want to be trying them on in my waders?

Re: Wading shoes
I ended up with a pair of these, I was looking for boots with just rubber soles as felt ocean waders I have had in the past wore away in no time on gravel/rock, so far they seem great, although they are not leather as stated, size bigger was just right for me.

Re: Wading shoes
Tried out a new pair of Behr chest waders with the neoprene socks and Wading boots last week end and definately worth it, far more comfy for hiking across beach than the neoprene waders mind you will always keep on to the neoprene for warmth

Re: Wading shoes
70 yoyos on wading boots in salt water
get a cheap pair if you get a year out of them then your flying no need in paying through the nose for them, the salt water will eat away at them, and id say getting a pair of syntheic boots rather than boots with leather would break up much quicker, i got myself a pair for £30 and do the job just great!

Species 2011: Bass (FINALLY), Mullet, Flounder, Mackeral, Pollock, Coal fish.
