Weather:near gale force winds and showers

Results:blank




Report:
tried a new area to see what it was like,walked the coast for 2 miles with 1 rod and a pocket full of 3 hook feathers and a few leads,wind was so bad i was afraid the lead would blow back on me,saw some spots that might be good for pollack and wrasse

saw a few gannets diving far out also saw a strange flower i never saw before just above the washed up stones on a beach,any idea what it is
,it was about 3 inch across

Tough luck on the fishing. That's a pasque flower, fairly rare.

At least you have a few new marks for your next trip, nice one on the flower pity its not a new species :cry:

thanks for the reply s and the info on the flower,was thinking it was a bit rare,only saw one,was wondering did a seed wash up from the sea,

was expecting a blank before i went out,the tide was wrong and the wind as well,was good to get out for a walk and suss out part of the bay for new marks
