Hopefully I will have a report tomorrow :D :D
I dug a bunch of big king rag at low tide yesterday and will dig some lug at low tide this evening and then off to a beach that usually produces a few on the rising tide. It seems much longer than a month since I last did some beach fishing

Do you know what, lately I have started to forget about tides and just go fish. It has worked out very well. Especially over low tides, and half tides. (3/4 hours into a drop)

I know of several beaches that fish best in the 2 to 3 hours before low tide, but fish poorly on a rising tide.

Frank, that spot i was telling you about seemed to be best from an hour before to an hour after low water. both of the bigger Bass i had came within these times plus a few others.

ive never caught there in daylight tho so gonna try the last few hours before high water tonight.

I hope you did better than I did last night - all I got was one small flounder
I have a lot of bait left so I will try a different mark this evening.

looks like i did as well as you so. the wind was pretty strong and right in my face. at one stage there was about a pound of weed after running up the line and clogged on the top eye but i also saved the blank with a small flounder. hopefully the Bass will play ball over the weekend.
