People:me and members of gadsac

Duration:3 to 8pmdr

Tide:2hrs down and 3hrs up

Weather:great including thunder storm

Bait:sandeels mack rag squid

Rigs:pulley and 2hook d-vice

Results:1 thornback




Report:club match at fahan never been there before so was really looking foward to it well in the club is my son gary he had been to a few comps before with out sucess we are on the beach the sun was shining and people all around us are getting fish and we arent next thing gary gets his first counter a tub gurnard so hes happy im not then i get a strong bite and find myself attached to my fires ever thornie i was well pleased gary fished like a trogan and got himself two thornies we all fished through what i can only describe as a tropical thunder storm but it was well worth it i got my first ray gary got his first gurnard and first thornies plus his first club win at junior level and i got a load of abuse off him coz he beat me as well all in all it was a great day

my ray weighed around 4lb garys weighed about 1lb and was more like a tea bag with the string attached and his other one weighed about 4lb
