Where can you collect razorfish in Northern Ireland?

#1 Post by KERRY1 »

Does anyone know of a place where you can collect razorfish in Northern Ireland?
And before it's said, I mean collected fresh from the shore not from a supermarket or fishmongers!
Any advice or help would be appreciated. :D

To be honest I have never really tried collecting them, I recently starting buying them in st georges market. great value and fresh. They are expensive but worth it.

Ray Mears was on today, he said most sandy beaches at low tide should have them. he put salt in the hole then a little bit of water and out it popped. he was right down at the waters edge at low tide. put a picture up if you get any. id love to get some myself too.
