Bass Ban query
Hi
Stupid question but I need the answer!
Is the bass ban over on the 15th June or do we have to wait for the 16th June?

Time spent fishing is never time wasted...
2015 targets - a triggerfish, a specimen bass, a three bearded rockling to complete the set and something big and toothy from certain north Mayo deep water marks

Re: Bass Ban query
Based on my understanding. May 15 to June 15 inclusive. So we wait until June 16. Its more on the safe side... I might be wrong though.

I like your thinking Kieran, organise your work around your fishing instead of the other way round, the way it should be.

Its the 15th inclusive, so no fishing til the 16th. Tight lines then!
Its called fishing, not catching. If it was called catching it wouldn't be fishing!

Jany lads. Fair play. The dreaded words 'Bass' & 'Ban' appeared in the title of a post and so far replies have been cordial & succinct. No lectures have been given. No-one used Large letters to make their point.

I am feeling quite nervous about giving my answer to the question.
The last time I mentioned Bass on this forum I got some reaction/responses, all of which weren't positive ones.

The ban is inclusive of the 15th, so get down to the beach on the night of the 15th, get your gear set up, bait up your hooks and at exactly 1 second after midnight you can cast out and fish!!!

Tight lines.
