Whats the best boat for me??

#1 Post by steveoel »

Hi lads,

Giving a quick trip over from the shore fishing section.
Myself and my father have been bashing around the idea of upgrading the boat for a while now and have settled on the idea that we will.

We have a budget of about 10 grand for the package (Boat, Trailor, Engine)

We want something for fishing mostly,
Won't be looking to go far from the coast but at the same time safety is a key factor for us!!!

Any suggestions??
Also what type of engine would you suggest??
What make?

Know there are pretty basic questions but research will hopefully help the project move along a lot easier,

Thanks in advance

Steve

Might be worth a look. I'd be putting an offer in though.

Before you take the plunge there are a few other considerations to take into account like the following,

What will you be towing it with and has the driver got a class EB license this has now become a problem for boat owners as trailer weight can be an issue. Do you want a fast boat, or just something that's not so fast but is cheap to run etc.

You could do a lot worse alright. Good little safe boat there. I know someone selling one.

Hi Lads,

Thanks for all thre great advice,
However over the weekend there has been a change in the circumstances which mean the boat is goin on the long long long finger.
Thanks again for the advice and hopefully some day i'll be posting pics of a boat and boat catches!!!
