People: me and a workmate

Duration:couple of hours

Tide:incomming

Weather:overcast, grey, easterly wind progressing to sunshine

Bait:mackerel trace

Rigs:mackerel trace

Results: 2 sand eels




Report:went to orlock to get my fishing kickstarted again. sun hadnt come out but i was only there to cacth macks for bait, sink n draw, sink and draw. . . . .nothing being caught, except for 2 sand eels which are in the freezer. cant wait to fish somewhere good

the mackeral should be around there soon enough man as the sand eels are moving into the area :wink: :wink: . i saw a load of sand eel taking shelter in the long hole at bangor during the week at high tide. and the mackies are never too far behind. :D :D :D

Orlock has been fishing awful this year so far mate. I would avoid the place, at least for another month or so.

might give the dee ago next week for the mackerel, wrasse and flatties, hopefully get up to 30 species.

its a shame they fenced off kinnegar pier, long gone are the days of a full trace of mackerel. hopefully tonight will bring better results when i get out for turbot

If its mackerel you're after you should give Greys Point a throw mate.
