Weather: Lovely! Warm and bright

Bait: Fresh Mackerel

Rigs: Pulley - 2 Rods

Results:

1 lsd dog
1 lsd pup
1 Bull Huss
1 Thornback Ray

Caught and released


Report:
Had huss early in rising tide, ray came later.
My first Huss '09!
And the smallest lsd pup ever!
Met baitdigger - he had a huss before I arrived.

I arrived two hours before low water but struggled to cope with the strong rip and big fronds of kelp. It settled down for the fill and I had two dogs followed by a huss. The huss are so strong well worth catching. Great weather and a great day out.
The Truth is often stumbled upon by men, most of whom pick themselves up and hurry along as if nothing ever happened.
