hi all,
does anyone know if these have the old style two fibre break block system or is it the new six pin plastic block system as in the hi-speed?

I wonder if you took out the 6 blocks on the pins which might make the spool lighter leaving only the magnets to slow down the spool has anyone tried that on the new reels

that's exactly what I did with mine I took the parts of brokin reels to do it the new 6 pin breaking system is to big on the spool and causes to much drag it is the worst thing abu have come out withnthclare wrote:I wonder if you took out the 6 blocks on the pins which might make the spool lighter leaving only the magnets to slow down the spool has anyone tried that on the new reels
