Balscadden Howth 22-5-09

#1 Post by nicefish »

People: Me and Mark

Duration 9:30 to 3

Tide: in out

Weather:wet then sunny warm :P

Bait: feathers

Rigs:

Results:Me Blank  Mark 2 pollock

Report: Went out today with Mark to try out his new Lidl rod and reel. we went to Balscadden for a bit of mack bashing, after a few hours we had enough not a Mackerel in sight. We moved to another spot where Mark fished years ago  after a bit of mountaineering we were up and running again. I blanked again but Mark christened his new Lidl rod with a double of small Pollock :D Great to get out fishing again and the sun even came out we will be back again with bait and catch a nice 5lb pollock

There is a fishing sale in ALDI on Sunday you can get rod and reel 19:99euro and compare them to the Lidl rod. I might get the bait box for 11:99 there is at least 3 lures in it I would use
