I'd say you'd want to check your scales. look more like 0.5kg

i have been threatining to go down for years but never make it,
beleive it or not i have actually caught them from the bollards on the east pier while float fishing scalps about 28 years or so ago, and no i dont have any pictures
i was talking to brian cooke about them and im sure he has caught them in dublin aswell.

i well believe it mate ! i got a call ojly about 3 years ago from a mate of mine fishing from the west pier to say he just caught a 2lb herring !!
i told him that it had to be a shad ! you have pm
