People:myself and mate dave

Duration:approx 2 hours

Tide:on way in

Weather:gusty and rain

Bait:mack and rag

Rigs:two hook long snood

Results:1 bullhuss




Report:
down in clifden for boat comp on sat 16 so headed to white lady in hunt for a ray on friday evening we fished one rod each as to travel light bit of a walk to this mark first half hour getting a few knocks on the rod then huge pull and rod doubled ,struck in and felt good weight and then he woke up. finally got him to edge of the rocks and with lot of help from dave landed a good bullhuss :D a first huss from the shore and made long walk back very short, time for a well deserved pint got couple of pics but probs loading will keep tring

that's the last time i will give you directions damian,came to clifden and caught a fish bigger then i ever did in the bay :( :( :oops: :lol: :lol: :lol:
well done damian i would say he put up a great fight

i was fishing the other side of the bay and all that was in it was crabs you picked the right spot to fish
met 2 of your fishing buddy s and they showed me the photo on the phone but they look way better on the site
great first bull huss from the shore, sorry you didn't get a ray as well,maybe next time :D

thanks lads for the replys and comments,cracking fight of the huss i think u should all have a go while bass ban on and hardy fish goes back handy enough .we were like two nutcases jumping round rocks but well worth the trip :lol:
