What would be the best tripod to buy for fishing of the rocks? Is there any differnence between the beach ones??

Best if legs are fully adjustable so you can change to suit angles of uneven rock surface.

Best advice is to buy a good quality one and it will last for years.I've had an Ian Golds 5ft match tripod for twelve years and it's almost as good as new.Good value for 23 quid.

Best tripod and most used is propably the Ian golds 6ft supermatch, some people prefer the 7ft version off rocks as it allows the legs to fit in more positions in the rocks , others prefer the mini version as it is more portable. Personally go for the 6ft model as it is the most versatile and get a trace bar, very handy for night fishing, dont bother with the leg lock kit unless you do lots of fishing off piers.
