I just got my new Spheros 14000 today and can't resist not to go out and cast for a couple of hours. Gabriel and I are both excited after out first catch last Monday. Grabbed the gears... jumped in the car... off we go and drove 30 minutes back to Kilteery Pier with an unexpected calm weather and waters...
This is beginning to be fun, now that we are catching some fish and don't have to drive too far for it. We were able to get our first dab then followed by four whitings... not bad for a short trip.
We'll be trying again in the next few days depending on the weather... a couple of anglers on our side got around 3 whiting and a good sized dog fish - I can estiamte it to be around 2 feet at least. They stayed almost the same duration as we did.
