Duration:5pm 11pm

Tide:ht 8pm

Weather:nice,sw wind stiff

Bait:worst mack ive ever used,sandeel,crab

Rigs:two hook flappers, float rigs,

Results:john, two dogs,me, two dogs, spiny spider crab,jason blank




Report:hit old head for a quick session,got set up on the rocks one rod at distance and one rod float fishing for wrasse,not much happened for a while but saw some unusual bites on the rod at distance,looked crabby but stronger :shock: reeled it in and as it got close i saw it was a large crab!! so eased him in and sucessfully landed a lovely spiny spider crab :D :D supper sorted then!! :D recast out and soon had a nice doggie,started slagging the boys about there lack of fish :twisted: but john responded with a dog of his own :evil: and slagged back.things went quiet for a while,so out came the coffee,great way to catch a fish!soon as i fill a cup of coffee i catch a fish :roll: :roll: guarenteed! another doggie,john then caught his second dog and that was that! stayed for another two hours but nothing happened.jason at this stage was fed up of all the slagging :twisted: :twisted: and insisted we went home :cry: and as he was driving we were lucky he brought us home at all :twisted: :twisted:

you are right there cormdogg,the mack was rotten when it thawed out,will never buy bait in that shop again!!id say he had a major freezer malfunction :shock: :shock:and pushed it off on strangers!!

Thought ya might like the pic alright,
thats a good offer thought you might pass it on to the rustys.
will deff need to get together but my turn to come up yere way i think,mabye arklow?
