Report:Had some great sport down there with the shad running the river, had over 20 fish in 4 hours and easily lost twice that many, mostly the spinner coming flying back at me when the fish jumped.
Had the specimen a little deeper than some of my other fish, counted to 7 before reeling, and the cast after I had another fish of just over a KG, but unfortunately he was 1.04kg, 60 grams under specimen.

was alot of fish just over the 1kg mark and most were 0.9kg.

Nice fish, well done Alby. I was down there yesterday and caught a couple from the same spot as that one, one nice one but I had no scales with me. I reckon it must be coming to the end of the run as there wasn't too many being caught yesterday and I only had three myself but I did bump into Corbyeire and Shamoo. Always nice to meet people off the site and put faces to the name.
