Hi Clogher,
Sorry to hear about the work scenario. If its any consolation, things have been very quiet on Lures here in Dublin North. A few to bait so far, but very few and far between.
Regards
JK

Re: north east
Hi Clogher
ive had a couple of fish on diving lures in dublin area in the last 10days. I would expect the next 7-10 days to be good if the winds drop as forecast.
the water is still too cold for surface lures. Try some minnow style diving lures.
Its probable that the water up your way is a bit colder than dublin and bass will still be low down in the water column. You need to fish your lure very slowly to match the activity levels of the fish. You could try a suspending type lure also that will stop and suspend deep in the water.
Its defo worth a try over the next few days.

Cheers Andrew, great info there! Iam heading out now to try a couple of deep places i know in the area that "should"
hold a couple of bass. Just a shame about that weather, it feels like october out!
