Just me
9-11.30
Pissing rain
2 hook flappers, 4 and 6 hooks, 2 rods
tide starting to flood
mack, assorted berkley gulps, prawns
One whiting! (Thank god)
I arrived with the intention of setting up at the rocks opposite the steps, but with the weather as it was I wouldn't have felt to comfortable on my tobler, I don't know the rocks too well, so set up at the steps again, If anyone is heading to Greystones to another mark some evening next week please let me know. Still on a mini hunt but nothing going on, the whiting nibbles went on all night, I was experimenting with mack and prawn on one rod and that berkley shhheeeite on the other. Ive binned the rest of that garbage, allthough there was bites on it,all the legs were nibbled of the "peeler crabs". I wasnt leaving untill I got a fish so thanks be to god at 11.15 I landed one little whiting.
Also, the Aldi 6.99 headtorch was Trojan in fairness to it, comfortable, light and a good beam,5 leds.
Im off to Cavan for Pike, Perch and Pints tomorrow! Woop woop!

gotta love the whiting to save the blanks.
i got 2 of them aldi headlamps yesterday, one for a friend who doesn't do a lot of fishing so wouldnt buy one himself(cheap so and so) and another as a spare in the tackle box. was gonna try it last night but the weed was so bad i left before it got dark
