Duration:1600 - 2030

Tide: flooding

Weather:mixed bag

Bait:rag and only rag.

Rigs: plain and simple 1 hook

Results: 1 bass 1 flounder

1600-2030hrs. orginally started fishing on dollymount strand at high tide yesterday but quickly got fed up there and decided to go south . drove for 3 hours well past wexford found a beach set up my gear... tough day with weed conditions making fishing almost impossible... paid off in the end one bass, my first this year...
one small flounder also taken. in the end the weed put an end to the fishing and also i was wanting to hit the road back to dublin.
picked up a few cans in the garage to help unwind after a long days fishing.

well done mate. nice catch after long ole drive. i have done those before with nothing to show for my efforts. congrats on your first bass of the year
