6500 Mag Elite magnets

#1 Post by Kraken »

Hi All,

Quick question.....

Opened my mag elite last night for a clean and noticed that there is only one magnet in there

Compared this to my sportsmag and it has 4 magnets

So....does my mag elite have too few magnets or does the sports mag have too many?

What do they come with as standard?

cheers
john.

i have a 5500 mag elite and some of the lads on the site gave me very good advice on this post viewtopic.php?f=1&t=20944&p=161481#p161481
probably much the same as the 6500 Mag Elite

if you need spare magnets i have loads of them, probably suit the 6500 as well

4 is the standard...all depends how fast you want the reel to run...i run mine with 2 mags and yellow rf...considering dropping it down to 1 mag but that will be living on the edge as regards birdie's.
