Results:
0 congers, occasional dogfish, 13trillion crabs






Report:

have a buddy who doesnt fish, been promising him a conger. no joy. he caught a doggie though

having heared of a good report to come out of the place in the last 6 months thats both with cod and conger

went back for another swing over the weekend, sandeel, mack, mussel and squid in any combination on two hook clip downs and flappers... nothing. one dropped fish half way in, likely a smallish whiting..

I also tried some big hunks of blood filled beef liver for the conger. I'd heard tell that it works but never tried it myself. cant say congers liked it.. but the crabs did

Save your bait and time.
The wall fish's best between November and the end of February
If you do want to try for conger fish the grassy patch just before the tunnel

For I.F.S.A. members only but well worth a walk around the area on the day as there are some nice flounder marks to be got at

Sunday the 14th. of June Cork SAC are holding an Open Competition in the area in aid of the R.N.L.I. from 16:00-21:00
