i'm looking for a new spinning rod suitable for salmon, pollack etc. hope to spend around £70. any recommendations out there? say around 9-10 feet and not bendy all through the blank like me old one is!

i have a penn power graph 10ft spinning rod, got it about three years ago and i think it's the business. i paid around 70 yoyos for it, and it's spot on for pretty much everything, especially rock hopping for pollack, and wrasse, and i know a few lads who use it for salmon fishing and they reckon it's grand. there's plenty of backbone, and casts between 30-60 grammes.(i've used for dead baiting for pike too, but was seriously overloaded) i presume penn have changed it's name in the past three years, but i'm sure it's successer has gotten even better......if you really want to splash out, the daiwa whisker is the cream of the crop, but expect to pay well over double the price. i tried getting the link to the penn website for you but it's under constuction, so just keep an eye out in the magazines, or just ask in your tackle shop
