Steering gear problem

#1 Post by fastnet »

Am currently doing up my Lee Fisherman 21'.The steering is shot and I have been told in CH Marine that the system I have is obsolete and that they can't get the cable type anymore.

I will probably have to put in a new system but the one that I was shown was part aluminium and not very durable looking.
Can anyone recommend a good system and where to aquire it?Would be very grateful for any ideas/advice.
Thanks.
