Early season bass flies

Anyone any advice on succesfull patterns early in the season for bass? anything at all would be usefull, heading to cork/waterford at the end of the month if the weather holds up

Try some smaller clouser minnow types in olive/white dark grey/white or even black. A rays fly or variant of also working at the moment.
