Still hunting my first bloody bass!!

So I am down working in cork next Monday, reckon I will hoof me rods in the van, am staying in Little Island, anyone recommend any daecent spots near enough to there for some evening fishing? I'm thinking Cobh or even as far as Youghal..

well lad, know a spot about 10 minutes from youghal over the bridge into waterford, it's called monetrea house and is just past ferrypoint. It might be 2 far for ya but I know there's a great chance of a bass there Monday evening dusk. Might even fish it myself if I have any bait left 8)

I know the area roughly, May give that a blast indeed...thinking lug , razor and squid?

This was my first bass. Got him on Sunday just around 15 minutes from Youghal on the Waterford side. Could be worth a look to see if his bigger brother is around......... :wink:
