Conger & Huss

#1 Post by markj »

I want to buy a good rod and reel for fishing conger and bull huss from the rocks onto rough ground, can anyone recommend a good combo and setup for these species?? Prices for combo up to 200 euros!

always fish for conger or huss at night.if the water is deep you might catch during the day.minimum main line 30-40lb weak links on all leads.best baits are squid or fresh mackeral on a running ledger rig.best time of the year seems to be from sept to jan on the east coast but the west could fish all year round im not sure.good luck anyway
