Budget head light

At the suggestion of various members and given the magazines will run a mile from criticising a piece of kit, here is your chance to tell us what you really think about a rod, reel, line, lure... keep it legal please!

The Enegizer 6 LED ( 4 white 2 Red) is a great cheap Head light and very durable, mine is going nearly 2 year now and gets used a lot. I got mine in Atlantic Home Care for €20. incl batteries

have a look on ebay, just enter fishing headlamp into the search engine. plenty of cheap ones there. if you get one from hong kong its cheaper again but postage takes upto 3 weeks.
i paid 13euro after P&P for my one from H.K. 28 leds and runs on 3aaa batterys. its well bright enough and the batterys last about 14 hours before they start to fade.
my friend has a silva one that was over 100euro and obviously its much brighter than my one but for 13euro you cant go wrong. same ones here are about 30euro but you dont have to wait for it to arrive.

I use a baseball cap clip on led light does the trick for me. Got 6 of them from the states off eBay for about 24 euro and each one came with 2spare batterys aswell, for tricky hikes I also carry one of those rechargeable 50 led bar lamps. 8)

this is the one i have. its only a cheapy one but well bright enough for me and at less than 6euro you cant go wrong. it works as 1 led, 9 leds or the full 28.

for that price you might as well buy 2 just in case 1 packs up but i have mine about 6 months and its as good as new.

The Energizer is a good light. I got mine from Argos and they are decent quality.
Or try a LED LENSER. They are very good.
