I was wondering what pepole think when it come to the weather , If they catch more in certain weather conditions ?

HI Martin,

I've always found it's totally dependent on what you're fishing for.

Smoothies, Dogs, Plaice, Wrasse (for safety on rocks too), - really calm sea conditions & overcast
Bass, Flounder & Coalies - nice surf, plenty of white water

The saying is true though - "if the wind is in the east the fish bite least!"

sunny and calm has always been lucky for me
life tastes better through a pineapple

speices 2011 whiting ,flounder, cod , coalie,,shore rockling , LsD,pollock,mack ,dab turbot sea trout ,bull huss ,3 rockling , wrasse

egg and my face were in alignment

has to be overcastand calm for me, purely cause its nice to fish in, not really conducive to bass fishing in the surf or codling on a winters night etc..... but at least you can sit back and enjoy the scenery btw i hate the sun

I find the time of day more important for me, early morning and late evening or darkness.

Might have to change my mind myself , was out Monday and it very calm night and I caught lots ! No cod :(

most times the weather is rank you do ok ,the fine days normally bore you to tears,have to say i like gank weather it keeps the beaches free of axxholes :twisted:

Haha yeah true ! Most beaches i go to are a bit of the beaten track , So its Axxhole free :)
