sending off for another new reel this weekend, but cant make up my mind on which one of these to get.
Abu Ambassadeur 5501
          or
Abu Ambassadeur 6501-c3

i think the main difference is in the size, the 5500 holds less line, both are left handed, which you wanted, both have levelwinds, havent read about then, but i dont think they have mags just the 6 pin break blocks

is the 5500 a bit small for beachcaster    i use a 5000 on a 9 1/2 ft rod and it suits lovely
it wil throw a 3oz over 80 yards easy no shock req so i presume it depends on what rod its for
