lenser led battery convertion to AA power pack

#1 Post by roger de dodger »

was out in the shed today and noticed an old headlight with a 3AA battery pack ,the lenser 1watt led light is a decent headlight but its not regulated so although the light is great after 1.5 to 2 hours it loses brightness .it has a 3 AAA battery pack ,could the pack be replaced with the AA one to improve stamina :?: without damaging the led?????

Hi

when you are putting a title on a thread outside the scomber, can you please use titles that indicate the subject as it makes it easier for people to reply and search etc.

Cheers, hope it all works out with the lights, I must have three sets by now, all non-functioning!

Thats interesting about being able to use AA batteries instead of the AAA. I will have to keep that in mind and see if i can find a holder for the AA,s and swap to them.
