Hi lads,
I just wanted to post a quick note to say a very big thank you to Rockhopper. I have headed off for Oz and wanted to post some rods out here as their beachcasters are a joke! No lie, you should see what they use from the beach! Anyways I hadn't a clue where to start, how to pack them, how send them and who to get to do it for me etc. etc.
Tom stepped in and took care of the whole bluddy lot for me. I really didn't have to lift a finger and he tirelessly answered all my questions and took phone call after phone call as he sorted out couriers and gave me detailed instructions on how to pack the rods so that they would arrive in one piece. The guy really went above and beyond the call of duty, the kindness of strangers eh!?
Tom just to say I appreciate it so much, thanks again
Liam

Re: A Big THANK YOU to Rockhopper
Not fishing related but Tom managed to sort out a heavy, bulky delivery for me too from the UK recently. Dunno how long he spent on the phone as the person it was to be collected from changed their pick up days etc. and made a whole unmerciful mess of things. Top stuff Tom and thanks again, I owe you one. BTW, Tom also does Zippys.....

Fluff chucking is the new black..... Rampant Wreckfish is a fly angler in denial

Hi,
Will keep an eye out for him, if he's on the beach then I'm sure I'll run into him!
Need some help though, forgot to bring rocket fuel and the idea of tuning a beach reel for casting here is an alien concept! I have some 80/90 gear oil for tuning the slosh 30 but what grade oil could I use for Pen 525's that'd give me similar viscosity to red label rocket fuel? I know it mighn't be as good but I need any substitute I can get right now
