Fishe with the Rathmullen s.a.a. on Portsalon beach. They are just starting shore angling. Weather cool East wind.14 anglers, very little fish. Those that were caught were all small. They are starting off right any way, Catch & Release. Might be better next time.

have not fished portsalon for a couple of years, during a blow in december once i had flounder almost every chuck on strip. one 18 inches long. tried cooking it- total failure, any ideas?

Fished fanad head and flyfished the lakes for years up that way (summers up on the family farm!) never tried Portsalon Beach itself but a friend of my uncles who like me is big into flyfishing swears by Portsalon Beach in October for monster bass...is there any truth in this rumour??

the day we fished it baas or monsters of ant sort wete absent.
