7/3/09 deepest darkest wexford!

#1 Post by roger de dodger »

People:me and deric lad

Duration:9 till 12

Tide:lowish and flooding

Weather:oh yea squally showers about force 4 in the right ear

Bait:lug and razor

Rigs:two hook flappers and clipped

Results:2 bass ,3 or four rockling,and a nice flounder

Report:decided to have an early go at one of my favorite bass marks but alas it was wild  with mad surf so hatched plan b and got a lovely surf on the second mark that screamed bass ,um um ,on with waders and out with rods and up to our danglies in surf we went 8) the weather was rotten to start but calmed down after the first hour only to pick up again 30 min before we headed home, eric was first in with a wollop followed by a slack liner, after a nice little fight out of the waves came a nice bass well over the measure ,nice one eric (note to self eric owes me a pint for the 20 lug i gave him  ) next came a few rockling each ,and then eric managed a rockling flounder double, nice one eric AGAIN! FINALLY i managed a nice bass myself (a small un) after dropping a good one in the surf after picking up the motherload of all weed  ,weed came on in a big way and eric was knackered from all his drinking the night before ,one highlight of the night was when eric realized his waders were not quite as waterproof as he thought   poor eric  dropped him home at 2.45 hope he,s not too spent for all them whiting today in the leinster league :D (no whiting were even caught in the making of this report  thank god ) appoligees for pic as my phone has no flash and is crap ,took one with erics phone maybe its better? we shall see if eric ever goes home long enough to look at his pc
