Report:not a lot to report really myself and dylan headed out for a few hours set up a rod each ,dylan in close and me out 120 yards ,i dropped one decent fish on the way in ,conditions where not far from flat calm ,we collected alot of white stones and made patterns in the sand messed about on the rocks and waved at trains who,s driver didn,t bother waving back after a feed of crisps(cheese and onion for me and chickatees for dylan)the wind picked up a bit and the place got cold ,bladders where getting under pressure so we packed up and headed home ringing for chinees takaway that arrived at the gaff two minutes after us ,bliss

fair play to ye giving kilcoole a bash,one of my favourite venues from years ago.i still give it a chance a couple of times each year usually with very little reward ,sadly.

like most kids his age dylan will want to explore so i thought kilcoole was about the safest bet thought about bray harbour but i hadnt any rope long enough to tie him to the railings and cable ties just scream child abuse or kidnapp,i think dylan will be replaicing eric in future (eric is taking to the bottle lately match pressure i think)any way he has stopped doing as he,s told and is starting to slap back

Nothing worse than train drivers who wont wave back,,it should be part of their job description. I drive a train in the park and always wave at kiddies and old guys

always nice 2 bring the wee ones out wit ye,
i brougth my 3yr old daughter out wit me las wk 4 a couple of hrs and really enjoyed it wit her even though der was no fish caught,
look 4ward 2 bringin her out again
