Haven't been out the last couple of weeks but as John says before that it was piss poor.
Have been trying the piking without much luck either maybe I'm just a crap angler.
Must look at forecast and might see you out there friday I will be in Seahog Commodore called Franrita.
Good luck anyway and let us know how you get on even if it's only to make me feel crap.

i know a great pin whiting mark
quite near there you would be.you will be better off upping your hook sizes to about say size 8's so your not PLAGUED with them.
very easy to fill half a bucket in now time.
ring me if you want the coordinates for this mark all i ask is keep it to yourself

fishing was tremendous, tried all the reef for colding, 4 of us caught 2 whiting and a dab outside the harbour to avoid the blank on the way back, c'est la vie, non?

A couple of times I've charged out to the Kish, caught nothing, zoomed off to Bray Head, still caught nothing, and stopped for 5 mins at the Harbour mouth on the way back and at least got a couple of pin whiting and a mini-gurnard or two........
