People:me

Duration:2.30 till 6 pm

Tide:full at 3ish

Weather:nice

Bait:lug oyster squid crab

Rigs: 3 hook flappers

Results:2 coalies 23 and 25cm




Report:had a few lug left over and got some frozen oyster to try so heades out for a few hours sanity before my dinner and a week of night shifts :cry: not a tap down by the stream so headed to the eyesrieley rocks for the last half hour or so ,two cormrants where doing well for themselves so i knew a few fish where around ,i used a flapper with glow beads and floating beads with size 4 hooks and got the two coalies on my second last cast(thank god no blank :roll: )and not a whiting in sight ,then again i did go home before dusk :|

nice one what did you think of the oyster i tryed clam last week to no avail did anyone use it :P :P :P :P :P

Ah Roger :oops: :oops: :oops: ,,,i've only been there 4 times this year so far,,,, youd think i never went anywhere else :roll: :roll: :roll: ,,,what about Bray Harbour and ,,,,,,,,,well ,,,,eh,,,,Bray Harbour :? :? :? ,,,maybe i do need to get out a bit more :lol: :lol:

nice session there, there seems to be a few fish movin in the day already, well i've been gettin them since january in the day light hours, surprising compared to last winter.

the oysters smell and are similar to mussel only about twice the size ,if the codling ever turn up i,d say they would be deadly in a lug cocktail
