Gurteen Galway 23.02.09

#1 Post by saltydog »

People: Myself

Duration:15:30-20:30

Tide: HT @ 17:15

Weather: Lovely day no wind of any note

Bait: Rag, Lug, Sandeel, Herring, Squid

Rigs: Various

Results: Dogs eventually

Report: Not much to report really, decided to see if Gurteen was fishing yet.... looked like it could be promising plenty of weed up on the beach from some recent blows lots of razorfish shells no weed in the water which was gin clear.. alas baits came back untouched every time bar the last 30mins when i manged to get 2 dogs one on rag and one on herring. Think Gurteen could do with another month before its fishing properly.... So lads we won't be fishing Gurteen this weekend
