Duration:6pm till 10pm
Tide:hw 6:45
Weather:calm mild evening
Bait:Lug, mack, mussel, sandeel
Rigs:3 hook flappers and 2 hook loop rig
Results:pleanty of small whiting, a 27cm plaice, rockling and 1 23cm dab
met up with the lads to give greystones north beach a try. roy and carl had been out digging and we had pleanty of fresh lug and roy started brightly with the 27cm plaice. Thinking we were in for a session to remember we watched rod tips for the slightest tremor in the hope of something else decent. The early excitement soon went away as small whiting after small whiting were brought in only broken by my 23 cm dab and a rockling for roy. all in all a good night was had and we will deffo fish this spot again later in the year.
pics from carl to follow
