results- me- 1 poorcod, 1 codling, 5 pollack, missed a conger,clam, 2 shore crabs and seaweed- john- 5 pollack and 1 coalie and 1 shore crab

report- after a good coarse session the day before john text me askin if i was planning on doing anything and if i wanted to go on to the dee. so that was ok i got there at 1.55pm, john got down at 2.15pm. the going was slow to start, after all it was still day light, john got the first firsh at about 5.30 or 6pm, he had 1 pollack and a coalie caught when i got a take on the conger gear, i gave it a bit of line and then tightened down on it before hiting in to, right away i knew it was a decent eel, got to the surface once, it then made a dive and the hook pulled out, i then got a small codling around 20cm, john got another pollack, i then got a couple of pollack, i then got a little poorcod and john got another 2 pollack before he left at 7.30pm and i then got another couple of small pollack and had deecent bite out behind the back wall but missed it before i left at 8.35pm. lug proved the best bait, but white rag and mack got some fish.

The first time I tried for conger at D'dee I lost one at the surface after about 1 hour.

I've tried about twenty times since without even a nibble (apart from crabs).

that was until i took him up to harrys, he got a couple of roach, rudd, missed an eel and got a bream

this time last year never thought i'd hear the true sea angler- not say that

then again i used to be the same with sea angling
